Kasat & Saboo LLP Chartered Accountants Contact

Accounting &
Bookkeeping.

Effective bookkeeping and accounting are critical to the success of your business. Clean books are not a compliance chore — they are what makes every audit, return and funding conversation straightforward.

Overview

Most compliance problems we are asked to fix began as an accounting problem: unreconciled bank entries, credit taken without matching invoices, personal and business transactions running through one account.

We maintain books through the year, prepare financial statements, and provide periodic MIS so management sees the position in time to act on it — not six months after the year has closed.

For businesses that already have an in-house accountant, we work alongside them: setting up the chart of accounts, reviewing entries periodically and handling the year-end finalisation.

Software we work in

Your books, in the
system you already use.

We work inside your software rather than asking you to move to ours.

TallyPrime
TallyPrimeDesktop · ERP

The standard in most Indian businesses, and the system our team knows best. Company setup, ledger structuring, GST-ready masters, e-invoicing and year-end changeover — including customisation where a client needs reports Tally does not ship with.

QuickBooks
QuickBooksCloud · SMB

Suited to service businesses and to firms with overseas stakeholders who expect cloud access. We set up the chart of accounts, bank feeds and recurring entries, and reconcile monthly so the books close without a scramble.

Zoho Books
Zoho BooksCloud · GST-ready

A strong fit for growing Indian businesses — GST-ready out of the box, with clean invoicing and multi-user access. We configure tax rates, templates and workflows so returns are filed from the books rather than rebuilt in a spreadsheet.

Migration

Moving between systems

Opening balances, master data and history carried across at a financial year end, with the closing trial balance agreed on both sides before we switch.

Working alongside

Your accountant keeps the keys

Where you have an in-house accountant, we review periodically and finalise — rather than taking the file away from them.

Busy, Marg & spreadsheets

We work with other packages, and with businesses still on Excel. If you are on Excel, we will tell you honestly when it stops being enough.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

Can you work with the accounting software we already use?

Yes. We work with the common Indian accounting packages and can review, correct or take over books maintained in them. Where a migration is genuinely warranted, we will say so and plan the cut-over around a financial year end.

We already have an accountant. What would you add?

Independent review and finalisation. An in-house accountant handles volume well; a periodic review catches classification errors, missed credits and reconciliation gaps before they reach an auditor or an assessing officer.

How often will we see our numbers?

That is set at the start of the engagement — monthly for most businesses with active operations, quarterly for smaller entities. The point of an MIS pack is that it arrives while the period it describes can still be influenced.
